AOA,

I have several questions regarding the job nature being a CSP Officer. I need some serious counselling.

1) I happen to be Masters in Civil and Structural Engineering. My question to you is will my professional degrees get wasted on joining the services? or do they place you to the departments like CWD, LDA, PDMA and P&D as an assistant commissioner from the DMG/PAS group? ( I know I can join these departments through the NTS tests, but I am more interested in appearing the CSS test and then joining those departments)

2) PAS has alot of political influence, how does it affect the life of an honest hardworking individual? what are the chances of progressing for an honest hardworking individual if he does not resort to any unfair means?

3) If I am owning a Civil Consultancy /Contracting firm before joining the services. What implications will services have on my business.? Do I have to shut down the business, or can continue by my spouse/ family's name?
