Thanks for your response. But I am bit confused, like for instance the 3rd topic in syllabus says 'Expansion of USA (1820 - 1949)', so we have to cover just the topics related to expansion in that time or every topic that happened from 1820 to 1949?
For example do we have to cover topics of 'Andrew Jackson' and 'President Polk and Mexican War'?

What I get is that things happened in this era apart from expansion that needs to be covered are mentioned specifically in syllabus, such as Civil War, Progressive Era, Role in two World Wars etc.
But for instance President Polk and Mexican war not mentioned so do we have to cover that too?
