Default advice to failed candidate, by hamzashafqaat

by hamzashafqaat

I have written a few words for those of you who could not pass this time.
************
************************************************** ********
Dear all in life there are those who try new ventures and give their best shots and leave the results to Allah, but then there are those who don't even try at all..It's your own decision to be from the first group of people or the second. .. you can be the one who has strong nerves , who gives his or her best shot and burn the boats ...or u can be the one who has weak nerves , who gets frightened and never tries at all
I was afraid too. ..I flunked in first try too...but I worked harder. I was passionate and my mission was to invest everything in this battle so that I never regret anything in life..It does not matter what the results are..It matter how you tried... "Jiss dhaj se koi maqtal mai gaya wo shan salamat rahti hai....ye jaan to ani jani hai is jaan ki to koi baat nahi "...During my css prep days I had a friend Irfan. He was more intelligent. He prepared for three years and each year he used to sit in English Essay paper and he used to get up saying that he can't do it. He had weak nerves. He could not take the pressure. ..although he was intelligent than me but he could not even attempt for a single year. He eventually left after wasting three years and went on to work for a telecom company. He still regrets his decision. Its been 9 years and still he sits and gets nostalgic...Who would you want to be ? One who tried and failed or one who never tried at all...Would Allah not help you if u give ur best shot ??
Let me narrate my story in detail. I graduated in 2003... attempted css in December.. I was quite sure i will do it so enjoyed my time until result came on may 2004. I flunked in English and got 35 marks... got very tense... had no time to attempt for paper again..It seems that the world had stopped.. I could not face my relatives or my friends.. Everybody mocked me.. People without knowing hurt you.. I suffered a lot.. My confidence shattered but I didnt loose heart.. I decided to attempt in 2005 with full preparation.. I prepared properly.. attempted all past papers and got them checked..i had a special teacher for English and kept on studying under him.. I went to all good teachers of Lahore.. I prayed at all shrines..I left no stone unturned..Attempted my exams again in 2005 and waited for results in 2006...just before the result came out i was thinking about the same thing which most of you might be thinking...2 years had passed and I had achieved nothing.. My engineering batch-mates were earning good money and i was sitting like a duck who had no idea what will happen....But I believed in Allah...I kept faith.. I knew Allah had a plan for me. "Verily Allah is the best of planners" I had worked hard and I had no regrets... Allah ne karam kia and I passed..Not only I passed by I topped in my academic group in Civil Services Academy and in fact topped the whole batch in the foundation term..
I know what phase you are passing through... u may be regretting because you had not worked hard or you may be cursing the examiner.. You think its the examiner who has done injustice.. But my dear this is not the case.. Accept your results... Learn the lesson and become a junooni...Show the world that you can do it.. Face the failure in its eyes.. Face the people who mock you.. Instead of asking why you couldnt pass, focus on how you will top... Full parho..itna likho itna likho ke unglion ka saans band ho jaye ... I am telling you that everyone of you can do it... All of you are intelligent All you need to do is focus now... stop being negative..jo ho gaya wo jo gaya.. ab nai jang shuroo karoo.. ek saal ki baat hai .. ye na socho ke na hua to kia ho ga...ye socho ke ho ga aur phir mai nai kia karna ha
