For gender studies I have been very active in the subject section of gender studies for cssforum please do check my posts there. The book suggestions etc are all there.
For Indo Pak history I used Farooq Nawaz Bajwas book the O levels one and used constitutional and political history of Pakistan for post partition period. I did not make any notes for both subjects, I read a lot. My advice would be to keep 1 or 2 months for revision especially for Indo Pak history. Be analytical in your answers do not write rote learned answers please be original. Best of luck! I hope you do well
