-Middle class and different dimensions
Thesis statement: Pakistani middle class enjoys reasonable lifestyle at one side, and it makes up more than 20% of total population. It plays vital role in social, economic and cultural uplift. But it lacks empowerment and resources needed to encounter affluent class of the country. In addition, our justice, education, social, economic system has been designed in such a way that middle class faces many problems to become real stakeholder of the country.
Role of Middle class in Pakistan
-Social role
a) Determine pattern of society
b)Shape ethical and moral set up
c)Play decisive role in resolving social problems e.g. corruption, bribe, and injustice
d)Social Awareness among other classes

-Economic Role
a) Large proportion of working class hence backbone of the economy
b) Trace out infirmities in economic policies
c) Help removing economic disparities by maintaining their life style by becoming an important stakeholder for govt. economic policies

-Cultural Role:
a) Determine Norms and Values e.g. Islamic culture in Pakistan
b) Promote cultural set up e.g. moderate culture in Pakistan

Middle class and Govt.
-Plays the role of pressure group against Inapt govt. policies

Obstacles in becoming real stakeholder in Pakistan:
a) Justice system
b)Economic system
c) Education system
d) Political system
e) Administrative system

Conclusion:

Middle class is an important organ in a state building, and plays pivotal role in giving socio-cultural pattern to the society. But it faces many problems to become real stakeholders due to discriminatory economic policies, power centered political structure and differentiated education system of Pakistan.
