OGDCL advertised GTP in 2012 and spend millions of rupees from company's funds to conduct test all over Pakistan and after four years of delay it recruited just 71 candidates.
The company is more focused on out sourcing projects to the third-parties instead of generating its skilled man power.
There had been many internal hiring within the OGDCL from last few years and all those appointments must be cancelled and the vacancies should be allocated to candidates short-listed from the both NTS tests of 2012.
We should demand complete audit of the OGDCL HR department, since the incompetency of the management is badly exposed.
A stay order should be taken on all out going projects related to CSR and there should be proper allocation of funds for the development of the skilled engineers first.
Atleast 5% of the total amount OGDCL spent on importing technology in the form of products and services, should be reserved for developing R&D facility, workshops, labs and recruiting engineers annually from all over Pakistan.
OGDCL's GTP should be compared and contrasted with GTP's of the Organizations Like NDC, ADCO, ADNOC, ARAMCO etc. Keeping in view the company's current size and expenditures.
