dear what to study??? i have been preparing for css, but no idea abt this exam , and having no such course outline, what to be studied ????

i have prepared some essays, idioms, notes for pakistan current affairs, eds reasoning questions.
is this sufficient for paper???? or more???

A sometimes PCS exam becomes more strict and tough, as only two papers used to be taken in this case for tehsildar ship. As for bulk of people take this kind of exam, considering the easy one, and mostly get fail in current affairs and general knowledge. So, go through the posts here in GK Sections, As you mentioned you are already in the process of CSS preparation, I believe you know the importance of material is required for taking such exams for essay writing. Also practice translations, English to Urdu and Urdu to English.

One thing is very important, the time management, because I have experience, about 10 to 15 minutes used to be wasted in the distribution of answer sheet and then questionnaire. So, also keep in your mind that while you will be in Science Collage, Musa Collage or Yazdan Khan School, what will be the situation.

Hopefully nothing else indeed, even at all. The same pattern is given by the BPSC last time, I think in 2009, and the same will be on Saturday 12 Feb 2011. And be confident yar, don’t confuse your self.

It is mostly about current issues, we can also expect questions from history.
