According to state bank of Pakistan they have to decrease interest rates citing iflation rate. Secondly they have changed consumer price index base year so they had to adjust accordingly. According to some analysts this step was taken to boost up the economy as it was already crippled. Investment was record low and karachi stock exchange was almost sinking. Some say political motives might involed as majority of politicians are industralists and businessmen.

Our Group's topic was ''Womens are better Boss''.. 7 out of 10 were shortlisted for Interview including me and 3 were eliminated.. N interview they asked about my family background Qualification History of BOK Balance Sheet Core values of Commercial Banks and about current Finance Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan.. Now Allah knows what will happend???????

there were total 80 candidates shortlisted for GD, 8 groups of 10 candidates each,
my group was #2,
our topic was WHAT MOTIVATE A PERSON IN WORKING ENVIRONMENT,
6 shortlisted in our group for interview including me out of 10 and 4 were eliminated,
interview was conducted on the same day,
Mine Interview questions,
Start with introduction and family back ground,
1 Why you are interested in banking carer
2 Deposits are bank asset or liability and why ?
3 what are bank assets
4 what are the product of BOK
5 Difference between public and private limited company
6 Current ratios and name some other ratios which u remember
7 and in last about placement
8 What you know about BOK

Now need your prayers for final selection please remember us in your prayers

in last groups they have selected 2 or 3 people from each group .
group topic are
MBA does not need formal taring in banking(1st group topic)
customer care
women are better boss
can computer replace human being.(last group topic)
i think almost 50 people are selected for final interview.because in our group 6 people selected from 10.
intervene question almost same as asked from asad.
now when result come?

We were about 10 candidates in a group discussion. 7 among 10 were shortlisted for final interview including me. Our topic was "Women are better boss" As far as Interview is concerned so Monetry policy, Role of Centeral Bank, SLR, Federal and Provincial Finance Minister, lender of the last resort, debt to equity ratio, qualifications, CGPA, Family background, Public banks in pakistan, components of financial statements (balance sheet and income statement) and at last about the placement.

I heard the successful candidates will receive letters at the end of this month or before Eid. Any idea about number of seats for KPK region.

Wish you all the very best of luck and please do let us know if any one recieve final letter.
P.S "Total 40 candidates were selected for the final interview"

any one have any information regarding result of bank of Khyber.specially the persons who leave in Peshawar and visited bank of Khyber on reference of their friends?
