Yes you are right.they will shortlist the candidates according to the region wise.

BOK Selection criteria
 

I have confirmed from BOK by calling and they are saying they will call top most candidates region wise. People with 80 marks will be given preference first. 50 seats are available, 300 will be called for GD and then from them 50 will be selected.

Region wise means candidates will be selected District wise, if 100 candidates get 70 plus marks and selected how they will be adjusted in KPK region like Malakand Swat Chitral abbotabad.So they will select local candidates who get good marks.

they cannot select all candidates from same region.they will distribute seats region wise.

More branches in cities can divide more candidates in that city. Peshawar having more branches means at least 30 candidates from peshawar Region.

According to members selected in previous batch group discussion will be held first and then interview.
