As far as my experience in MCB is concerned, its' a best place to work with really awesome people. everyone who has qualified the test and interview phase is going to have the most memorable 6 months (training tenure) and a very good start of their professional lives. Way to go with MCB

It depends on your performance. You can get promoted in an year or could retire as an OG III. It's all in your hands. your salary could rise upto 50k in 3 years which also depends upon your performance. three years of bond has nothing to do with your promotion or salary. Good Luck

can u please highlight what are the performance measures upon which one is promoted to a higher grade? does that solely mean on the job performance or excelling in studies as well? does the IBP certificate count in promotion?

There was no bond when we joined as TBO. Later on it was introduced. As far as your second question is concerned, I would say that it minimum period for css/pcs preparation is 6 months, but this depends on your study background, subject selection, study stemna etc.

Default Dear All

I am reading the optimistic and enthusiastic comments from the TBOs applicants. Please note that at present MCB is one of the most profitable bank in Pakistan and also the most hard place to work. In my opinion Salaries in MCB are at lowest in the banking industry of Pakistan. A lot of people are going to resign from MCB. Because of this trend they have introduce the concept of surety bond of Rs 300.000/- before completion of three years of service. The bank have recently introduce the promotion criteria for TBOs and after reading that seems imagination and nothing else. I am telling this all because i have recently resigned from MCB. I dont know what will be the policy of MCB regarding staff salaries and benefits in future, however will advice to join, gain experience and switch to other institution in higher grade and salary.
