Some of the OG-1 people are saying in the other thread that they have received calls for documents submission. won't we all take test and then this will happen?

I'm asking because I am the only bread earner in my family and I can't risk not getting paid even for a month. so I am pretty tensed. because I was told it can take up to 1 to 2 months. to officially start your job. but I also want to get this job because obviously this is better then my current job.

also please guide me how to start preperation.
I am currently focused on current affairs and maths. what else do you suggest regarding studying.
