Interview questions were not same for all candidates, generally a brief intro of urself, your field of study, some general topics i.e inflation, monetary policy were asked, you don't have to learn only definations but also main concept i.e with increase of inflation what can we do with interest rate
Also u have to satisfy them for what u r doing after completing your qualification uptil now.also if u have job experience then u will be asked questions about your job, also you must have convincing answer for changing your field if u dont have related qualification.
Duration of interview varies.. As mine was around 20 min
Usually no of seats are 60
Test marks matters a lot in final selection cuz merit is cumulative of test abd interview, especially if you are from any big city then u must have high score for selection
Gud luck to all of you....
Thanks a lot for your detailed reply. It certainly answered to my questions. In the light of your description , I have gathered that I have least chances as my score is meagre 66 , nor I have banking or Administration background which would be preferred. And for a student of literature ,preparing banking concepts would not be an easy task.

Sir ! Was missing your contribution. Nice to see you here. Your presence here would be greatly helpful.
Sir definitely would fight for it and won't surrender. However , keeping in view the the picture portrayed by the above reverend member , it would be a hard nut to crack.

Guys,

Can anyone help me with the following:

1) What will be the total salary and do you get a house allowance?

2) When do you move to og-3?

3) SBP-BSC vs SBP? Will joining SBP-BSC put me at a disadvantage to ppl in SBP?

4) I currently make 125k.....how long before I can make that kind of money?

If you earn Rs. 125k p.m from a reputable institution and if your job is not contractual then forget about first 3 questions. Stay there because you need atleast 4 years to fill that gap.

Yaar please dont get me wrong and I am not trying to be snobbish.

I work for Shell Pakistan in their finance department the issue is that I am not ca qualified and that will prevent me from getting to the top....

I have BSc and MSc in Finance from London.....I have worked for banks in london for two years as a fx trader......

I am looking to move....can you please let me know the answer to the above 4 questions? Would joining the Ypip stop me from getting to OG8 as opposed to sbots?

Do they provide money to requisite a house?

If you perceive your growth not that much promising in your current organization then let me tell you that majority of OG-2 employees do not reach OG-8. Few employees reached OG-8 after serving 16 years and on average 18-20 years.

Raz first of all thank you so so much for your reply.

What kind of a disadvantage? The reason I ask is that if it will be the same as not having a CA in a finance department or less? I want to understand the extent.

Second how much will be the house loan? How many times can I take it?
