Dear Friends

can any one share

NTS Test weight ?
Written communication test Weight ?
Academic/ education Weight ?
Interview weight? in Final Merit List

I am asking because, interview went bad
P.S : i scored well in nts test , written communication test went good too. academic record is good , but interview , so i am a bit worried now

What went bad in your interview guru ji

Well i guess nts plus intrvw marks conclude final merit marks. Written communication test is said to be a neutral veriable. While academics dont contain marks for merit making.

Actually interviews are conducted for the purpose to check few Under mentioned qualities:
1) confidence
2) psych of a person
3) mental sharpness
4) and a little of academic knowledge.
They have tested your IQ and academic knowledge in your tests. If you have satisfied them in first three aspects, you must not worry, u have done good.

What i have seen during past few selection processesis that test plus Academics always play a vital role during selection processes.

Interview. I prepared well the academics, but. it was a genral interview. where are you from, y SBP, Function of SBP etc etc
1) For your first point: i am a bit shy , so whnver i am in new settings i lose my confidence . thats what hapened to me in interview too
2) Psych of a person...can you please explain a bit? what are good traits and what goes against us. so I can evaluate my interview performance.
3) and 4) it was ok.

What was general language of the interview was it entirely in English or Urdu or mix of both ?

It was mix of both but mostly it was english

In context of job interviews, psych refers to positive attitude towards work, less aggressive and self motivated, love to work in group and as well as alone, and many more according to job description. this is what usually psychiatrist check, i dont know whether SBP panel have one or not.

And by the way the questions shared by the fellows show clearly that interview have no or very low weightage in selection process and its just a formality. As what i personally think that these questions are not that much important to influence the selection process.

My interview was on 15th april in islamabad and i found the pannel to be extremely friendly and a little bit new at this interview thing. they mostly asked general questions about my career and statebank as am a civil engineer however i think they preferred english as a mode of communication
