Totally agree with you brother. I will stick to my first comment on this thread. We cannot blame a Fair and Transparent organization like NTS for our own shortcomings and yes if a person reads regularly Business section of Newspaper, he can easily answer minimum 10/30 questions of GK section of this particular test but unfortunately most of us, and that includes me as well, don't do that.

well Mr. I read dawn daily because I am css aspirant and having BS economics degree with 3.84 cgpa and me too felt some difficulty in solving paper. Should I burn my degree? :-/

This paper was not a mistake, it was by design.

In SBP s first job advertisement for entry level after a gap of 2-3 year was SBOTS which took place last year, and that test was so easy that SBP had to increase cutoff by almost 65% each section to filter out candidates. If they make the test easy thenit will be hard for them to filter candidates, but if they make the test hard then they appropriately adjust marks.

In Last Junior officer test. There was no section wise cutoff, those who had overall 70 marks were qualified, so if they repeat this year, then if you did maths and English section good, you have a strong chance of passing.

But I so have criticism, firstly, SBP should not charge 800 rupees (it is too much) from unemployed youth. And secondly propoer sample paper should be uploaded so that candidates can come prepared. I think SBP and nts do somehow exploit candidates by charging a very high exam fee and keeping candidates in the dark about paper pattern.

Well, no you shouldn't burn it, you should send it back to the university that gave it to you and tell them the whole story in a letter. And tell them to refund you the fee you paid. And also pay back for the four years they wasted of your life.

Burning won't help. btw make sure you make few copies of the whole thing to all channels and media outlets and social media platforms and yeah obviously to Governor State Bank!

I dnt know why ppl blaming nts when nts prepare paper according to employer criteria. When we got selected as jo batch one tariq rehman told us that it was nts mistake because our gk was also tough but this has happend again 2nd time infact in our time it was history of pak economy then gk and not even sbots or ypip have gk like that. And sbp officials read css forum post and mentioned names of boys who were active so its betr not to come with ur names.

It is our right to have a say in any matter if we face problem...they(NTS & SBP) should have clearly mentioned it in advertisement that only Business & commerce graduate should apply....they are just collecting money from the unemployed youth....and we should not tolerate it at any cost......
From the fear of SBP you are asking us to be silent.....what a pakistan....
Educated people are talking like this.....we just cannot blame others....
Nobody will give your right....specially in pakistan you have to snatch it....
