Dear depends upon the post. In my view BPS 17 of local council is beter than OG1 of SBP. You will feel the diffrnc of nature of job from adminstrativ to counter job.

Brother OG-1 and OG-2 are equivalent to BPS-17 and OG-3 and 0G-4 to bps-18...and OG-5 to 19....i agree with you on the rest...

Oh! Really surprising ..... So all OG 1 employees of SBP/BSC have uselessly wasted their years in waiting to be promoted to OG 2.
They have remained in ignorance for decades .
Brother , when you join BSC, please do inform management and employees that there is no distinction between OG 1 and OG 2 .

Local Council Board's interview process is yet to commence while SBP-BSC has already forwarded an offer letter.
Do you have any assurance that you will definitely be selected in Local Council board?
Haven't you heard that, " A bird in hand is worth two in bush ".

well the sarcasm was uncalled for...and instead of being marvelling at my naivety please check your own ignorance and do a little reseach before jumping to conclusions....I haven't said OG-1 and OG-2 are same, obviously they are different but both are equivalent to BPS-17....

Well, I still stand by my words that OG 1 is 16 grade. For this matter , you can ask any SBP employee who is also member at this forum , e.g Raz bhai or any other member. Or , call at any number of SBP-BSC Phone: 111-727-111, you will get confirmation of my words. Open Challenge bro

Suggestion.
Though most of the information on Wikipedia is correct but not the every information.I jumped to conclusion because I am cent percent sure about it.
You jumped to conclusion on the basis of Wikipedia , setting aside Organizational Hierarchy !!!!!
