Default Discriminatory Exam Systemby SBP and IBP

[FONT="Tahoma"]Its really disappointing to note that for OG-2 only students with 60% are eligible.
The poor candidates from rural areas usually get private degrees due to non-availability of universities and inability to afford university expenses regularly. And Its unfortunate that universities in Pakistan particularly in Sindh do not bestow the masters degree with more than 55% however the student intelligent may be. And here in SBP has demanded at least 60% to be eligible for the post.
This discriminatory system should be abolished by free and equitable competition for all the students having masters degree.

Please join hands in this campaign and drop as many emails to IBP and SBP as you can.
This is injustice with the poor candidates.
Although I am eligible to apply, but I feel it against the constitution to make limits for becoming eligible.
If CSS,the highest competitive exam cannot be made discriminatory like this, then why other exams are being made so??

Every Govt, Semi Govt and non Govt entity reserves the right to impose any restriction on educational qualification for the tests in all of its legal capacities. For CSS, there are specific instructions as to what are the pre requisites for appearing in exams (like at least a Second Class or Grade “C” Bachelor degree in any faculty). Now borrowing from your logic, anyone can state that why not a D grade degree in CSS is acceptable. This injustice should also come under the cadre of injustice. Moreover, all the candidates who failed universities can also state that it is injustice to exclude them as it is discrimination.

Think from the perspective of the employer. SBP aspires to attract the best available talent from the market. They would prefer to restrict the candidates having below 60% marks to appear in exam. SBP does not care about the availability or nonavailability of universities for students from backward areas. This issue is already being tackled via regional and provincial quota. No one from one geographical area can be hired from an allotted seat of another area.

No prominent university in Pakistan (NUST, IBA, LUMS, FAST) gives high grades to its students. There are forced grading parameters in which more than 40% of class population receives less than 60% marks. Hence, it is not a matter solely relating to Sindh.

If candidates are assessed here, then why to make a particular category to be assessed??Competent candidates even though with lesser percentage in their credentials can compete with those of having positions.
So making a particular class of the society for a particular seat reduces the competition and kills the poor talent.
