Born on 09-Nov-1990 I will turn 28 on 09-Nov-2018, can I appear in CE-2018 ? Some one told me I can't. Plus if I can, will I remain eligible for 2019 or not ? Pls help me clear my confusion.

Yes you can appear in CE 2018, but can't appear in CE 2019. For CE 2018 cut off date will be 31 December 2017. On 31 December 2017 you will be 27 years 1 months 22 days.

Here is the calculator to calculate age

Although I have to opt 4 new subjects, yet I believe these changes are better in the sense that the previous groupings were of outdated nature.

the syllabus is way better than before. but some subjects' syllabus is just too much for a 100 marks paper e.g business administration...

Dear all I think we cannot call regrouping of optional subjects as CSS reforms:
Reform would include change in age limits, number of chances and eligibility criteria, or it may include medical as well.

Thumbs up

Yes, I am extremely delighted at the reforms. I am not appearing anytime soon. There is some time for me.

It's great , that now Computer science is worth 200 points and it's in a whole other group. So that's a huge + point for me!

What has disappointed me is that, now I shall appear for 2 variations of Mathematics, Pure and Applied that are worth 100 each, but I shall work hard on mathematics!

Also, due to the change in groups , I can avoid studying Physics in detail.

So Yay!
