Gentlemen I will be loaded for bear through your experience in this exam ..kindly share some samples of essay outline,the way you attempted questions and wrote answers and got such (marks low or high) which you never hoped to get....it would be a boon from heaven for everyone to start back to the drawing board ..thanks

It's an unpredictable exam unfortunately. My family has quite a few CSPs (including an ex IG and Chief Secretary) and people thought I will clear the exam but it didn't happen. If you have observed, around 49% people passed essay in CE 2014, but this year very very few people made it. Similarly very few people passed precis paper in CE 2014, but many people have cleared it in CE 2015. As far as attempting is concerned, I made sure to do justice with the question. By that I mean satisfying the requirements as much as you can under a limited time (say about 35 mins for a 20 marks question) whether that may take 2 pages or 4. I drew diagrams/maps where needed.

It is difficult to get good marks in CSS. According to my experience I gave my best in papers .In fact few papers were outstanding but still I was unable to fetch good score I do not know why it happened but Its true...
SO put your all efforts in it but don't purely rely on CSS.

We won't be able to see when where how things went wrong in attempting questions or answer.without seeing what we have done and what should be done..share your stuff please I m a failure too like you all.may be we will able to crack this nut....essay outlines and question answers marks you got against or according to ur hopes

It was my first attempt. Ah bro I don't remember the exact outline, I think Aik Admi started a thread to analyse various essays/outlines, you will find it there. Well almost all papers were strictly marked I think, I was expecting 75-80+ in EDS with at least 40 correct MCQs but I got 53 in it.
