No word on that - neither on further age relaxation for people belonging to 'backward' areas.
But people from backward areas already enjoy 30 years age. |
CSS Upper Age Limit
Dear All,
Presumably the decision taken by the cabinet, as per rules of Govt business should remain implemented for CE-17. Nonetheless, lets wait for the official notice on FPSC website in a day or so and the same shall clarify various queries too. Thank You. |
?
Is FATA counted as backward area, too?
|
I think we should wait until an official announcement is made by FPSC.
|
its called less developed area

..........
Its really confusing . why is NOBODY mentioning the qualification criteria . is it bachelor ,or masters ? . people with 14 years of education should either resume studying or stop studying . no official word on it
|
As per current rule. Candidates of less developed area enjoys 2 years more than candidates from other area in age limit. It is rule of thumb to favour the backward area candidates in every FPSC exam. Hope so it will apply here also.

The education criteria will be increased to 16 years of education. I'm ok with the age limit being increased but increasing the education criteria is wrong because many candidates cannot afford to pay for masters education, for e.g, Zahid Hussain of rural Sindh was a cattle herder who only had education of 14 years(B.A) as he could not afford to pay for masters yet he achieved merit #35 in ce-2015 and was allocated to PAS/DMG. |
