CSS upper age limit increased

Cabinet approves increase in upper age limit from 28 to 30 years for CSS exams to benefit youth from backward areas & higher qualification

Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal tweets a short while ago. Earlier, it was in today's Newspaper that the matter is going to be on the anvil today. Now one may expect that CSS 2017 aspirants would also be able to benefit from it.

high qualification means it would be masters?

Once cabinet approves it then I dont think there would be further issues in it.

What will be the upper age limit, after general age relaxation (if available), after these changes? And what will be the higher qualification, is it 16 year education, if 2nd division would be valid, can anybody tell? Thanx

Yes most most probably it would be Masters /16 years education. Becuse in the proposal it was proposed.

The increase in age limit is only for backward/rural areas of Sindh, Balochistan and KPK.
