You have performed well. Go for CSS 2012 only if you can prepare/revise syllabus contents in remaining time. Otherwise, its better to wait for 2013 because its your last chance and you don't have margin of error. So think wisely and then decide. Your subject combination is also good and scoring.

In my humble opinion, there is nothing wrong with your subject selection. In 3 months span you can revise them as the preparation of CE 11 will definetly help. All you have to concentrate on is English in particular and compulsory in general. But still, if you are confused, wait for 2013 since it is your last chance and you should give your 100% for getting selected.

i think if you can avail all three chances without appearing in 2012 then do not appear in this attampt..but if u have 3 chances including 2012 then go for it...21 ...28years is the age limit...good luck

dear doli, 3 months r enough 4 stdy. u need guidance and smart work. ur subjects arabic, psychology, US hisyory and forestry r much scoring. I think issue lies with ur method of ur preparation. Always these 3 months r decisive and real prepartion is made in this period. keep last 5-10 yrs papers with u and then start preperation according to questions in these papers. Writing practice for every subject is must . Dont think for 2013. CSS sylabus may change at that time. try 2 overcome shortcoming u have had in the last attempt. Make a determied effort and definetly u will get success. God bless u.

Well gurl given your last year performance and the current dilemma you are facing, I don't see any point in you appearing in 2012. Look since you have only one chance left, better do it perfect which, I feel from your posts, is not the present case. Tiyari bhi kam hi lag rahi hai, aur baar baar jo sawal poocha ja raha ke appear hoon ya na hoon, it shows that you yourself are not confident enough of your preparation(jitni bhi hai). So my advice to you would be, come home ASAP, start preparing here under somebody's guidance and give in your best and appear in 2013 once and for all

Thanks Mr Ihsan Qadir for such informative remarks... It will help me and those who are still in a fix to appear in 2012 or 2013... If we are determined and start preparing with full of our energy with smart work like preparing from past papers... then we would do... I am sure about it... Thanks... May Allah Bless all of us... I have appeared n 2010 and was aggregate with 558 with only a month preparation alhamdullilah, while in this attempt i have nt recieve the dmc.Indeed i m hopeful for the forthcoming attempt inshallah, instead f this that i am eligible till 2015.MY OPTIONALS ARE.........

Even prior to your post of displaying your dms, I had decided to give you a kind piece of advice of postponing your plan of CSS 2012.
Looking at the type of English you have used, I always doubted your chances regarding passing the Essay paper and this is exactly what your dms SHOUTS too.
I would advise you to come well-equipped and better prepared in 2013.
Don't waste this precious opportunity since you can score well in other subjects too.
Therefore, go for CSS 2013.
