All people do not have same circumstances. So evrybody perception about things are different In my case my economic and geographical conditon did not let me aware about CSS exam.I did not have. much confidence and exposure at age of 25.Now after taking CSS 2012 I have much confidence and awareness but now I dont have age I will be 28 in 2014.We are not demanding any thing unlawfull.we just demanding to revise the age limit so that more competant aspirants could participate and CSS lot must have all age group of youth. This is our constitutional right thatCSS policies must be revised which are created on unlawful grounds. thanks

If you are granted relief on this ground, and ,lets say, the age limit is increased to 30 years, then those people who are above 30 might also file a petition to increase the age limit to 32 or even 35. This will lead to an infinite regress and consequently a vicious cycle will kick off. Therefore, this petition is destined to be consigned to the court's dustbin.

@dms664...We do not know if we can relief in CE 2014....But we sure will not get relief if we do not try!
@Kanwal...Please call, sms or email and we will share all info. If we share all info here, a lot of inquiries will be directed to the lawyer and he wil get frustrated with frequent phone calls.
@Topper...PPSC had to increase their age limit and there are no more petitions on getting that age limit increased again.
We only demand what all other countries, especiall SAARC countries have as age limit i.e.30.
Also, it was 28 before 2001 when Gen. Musharraf brought it down to 28.

Reply sought from FPSC in CSS age case
FROM THE NEWSPAPER

LAHORE, Sept 30: The Lahore High Court on Monday sought a reply from the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) on a petition moved by 10 CSS candidates seeking relaxation in age like government employees.
Rai Ansar Ali and other petitioners submitted that the commission gave a five-year relaxation in age to government servants appearing in the examination but did not provide the same benefit to common candidates. They pleaded that all the candidates should be given five-year age relaxation.
Representing the federal government, a deputy attorney general told the court that the FPSC gave two-year relaxation to common candidates. He said the commission was an independent institution and had its own rules and regulations.
The court adjourned hearing till Oct 3. — Staff Reporter
