hi

here is what you guys need to do in order to get your voice heard.
contact the office bearers of human rights commission of pakistan,i would recomend an in person meeting as nepotism prevails every where and get them convinced to take up the issue.

secondly, write a brief but effective letter to the human rights cell of the supreme court and plead a suo motto action against age bar.

thirdly, get media involved.if the issue is raised in a few talk shows i am sure it will cause things to stir up.

nocturnal Thursday, March 01, 2012 03:33 PM

Please note, as far as contact with the media perons is concerned; some big figures like Hamid Mir; Tallat Hussain etc has already been conatcted, moreover letters to the Human Rights Organisations have also been written.
All of them have suggested to move to the supreme court.

For more details plz contact Mr Raees( 0334 9157997)

It never ends til it ends Thursday, March 01, 2012 11:13 PM

Guys why shouldnt we send a written petiition of Age Relaxation to Prime Minister which would be signed by atleast a thousand prospective candidates.Remember this year is election year and Gillani government will do every thing it can to woo the voters.A golden oppourtunity.Isnt it?After all who wants to lose youth votes.Today Gillani was taking live calls on ptv he will do next programme next month. We should call him send him written petitions but it would be nice if a joint petition could be sent by the signature of prospective candidates.A writ in Supreme Court can weaken our case becz so far government is in difiant mood as far as obeying orders of Superior Courts.Looming elections can compel this government to hear our voice.

It never ends til it ends Friday, March 02, 2012 11:02 AM

Yes time is running out as date fr Css 2013 would be announced start of July.So we have only few months.Remember guys the proper procedure fr age relaxation is:Requisition for age relaxation will be moved by Establishment Division to the Prime Minister and after he approves it then it would be sent to FPSC by Estab Division after notification which then publishes it country wide.

nocturnal Friday, March 02, 2012 12:00 PM

Please be aprised that FPSC has twice forwarded the request for age relaxation to PM but he has rejected it both of the times, FPSC has already given written clarification in this regard.
Writing letters to the Government would be fruitless because much has already been done in this regard.
We are only left with the option of moving to SC and if decision is given in our favour Gov will implement it in letter and spirit. plz dont mix it with NRO case in which Gov is showing reluctance in its implementation.
Thanks

mystic Friday, March 02, 2012 03:18 PM

Yes my buddies we must move to the Supreme Court because even if PM announces age relaxation then he will raise it only from 28 to 30 years while we want General Age Relaxation of at least 5 years. For other jobs under FPSC age limit is 35 years, so same should be for css. No discrimination is allowed.
But in the mean while we should write letters to newspapers, anchorpersons, human rights organizations so that we could create mass awareness among people and students, so that maximum people are on our side. We must write letters. Please all of you start writing letters to people and newspapers and organizations for support. Nothing is wasted, all that will strengthen our cause, will bring new candidates as our supporters, our sponsors. Leave no stone unturned, let's do our best using all plateforms that we can use.
Remember friends, there are some elements who are greatly against age relaxation, so don't think it easy, we have great difficulties ahead. So stop smiling, get up and write letters, contribute with Raees for SC advocate fee, tell your friends, go to academies and spread awareness, get new people on our side, contact media personnels. This is our last chance, it is our own cause, don't be ashamed of struggling openly on all plateforms for it. Victory will be ours I guarantee if we all do our best and leave the rest to Allah!

mesogynist Sunday, March 04, 2012 06:22 PM

a less expensive idea is to join hands and write an open letter in jang and dawn news paper and get it published on the front page.what do u say? i think its a cost effective idea.

secondly,we can contact political parties and tell them they would have the votes of many of us if they help us in age relaxation.

mystic Sunday, March 04, 2012 06:35 PM

Mesogynist I second your ideas.
Letter/ad/plea must be published on front pages of the top newspapers but that will cost us a lot. Currently the funds collected are around 1 lac, not enough to hire a supreme court lawyer, in fact 1 lac is nothing compared to A K Dogar's big fee.
As far political parties, they should be contacted but how? who will bell the cat? We don't have contacts with the political parties otherwise we could have influenced them regarding raising css age limit.
Still your ideas are very good and I hope some candidates who have contacts with the high ups will implement them.

It never ends til it ends Sunday, March 04, 2012 06:58 PM

Im in for the idea.Yes publishing front page pleas or letters can influence the masses plus political parties.Brothers If any one has contacts with influential politicians of PPP.PML(N) or PTI plez make use of them as this is d time to utilise in ur favour. My personal opinion is if a sindhi politician close to zardari can be approached he may try to convince him for the said matter.Becz if this matter does not decide in our favour in this government it will pass to next government means we could not avail 2013 or even 2014 chances becz fresh government when comes to power will have their hands ful of all major issues and our cause will be gone to back burner.Guys as this is election year so now is the chance to appoarch high-ups as every one tries to win youth votes which constitute 70%.Im initiating d process (as exam date announcement is coming near) by writing letters to President and different party heads and general sectretaries. What if hundreds of letters would be received by Presidency,Primeminister secretariat, other Party heads every week plus could it not be possible to send a joint plea or letter endorsed and signed by hundreds of people.Wake up guys approaching supreme court is a lengthy and very expensive affair as every lawyer of high repute will charge in millions.Plus being a Lawyer myself our case is weak which I will explain why in my next post. Now or Never is my message to every one.

nocturnal Monday, March 05, 2012 12:28 PM

Attention

It is to bring into notice of those who are suggesting different ways to approach the Government that many letters have already been written to the PM, President etc in this regard but they have paid no heed to the request of CSS Age relaxation.
Mr Raees and other fellow aspirants have been trying this since an year but letters have not brough any fruitful result. Many letters to Editors have also been written but result is zero
Many politicians including PTI have also been contacted, PTI members have also staged protest in Quetta but of no use.
All of them have suggested to move to SC. FPSC in its clarification has also stated that they have moved the Summary for CSS age Relaxation twice but it has been rejected by PM.
Except CSS ,age relaxation has been given to all FPSC jobs; it is a clear violation of fundamental rights.

It is requested to all of you to participate in this noble cause, those who dont want to participate are humbly requested not to derail this process. Those who want to again write letters to the PM, President are more than welcome.

Around 1.5 lac has been collected till now, if people keep on contributing seriously we are quite hopefull we would be in a position to file the petition. There are hundreds of aspirants who wants this relaxation, you are all requested to spread this message because it is not matter of concern for any few rather whole nation would get benefit from it.

mesogynist Monday, March 05, 2012 01:44 PM

this is my last idea that i think is workable and if we donot do this than no point in mere discussions we should move on and do something else.

get together in islamabad, get permission for peaceful protest in front of parliament house from commissioner islamabad.we should have around 80 to 100 candidates from different districts and i believe this will attract th news hungry media and politicians towards us.guys,we can also highlight that we being youth cannot afford a lawyer and may be this will get us someone like ansar burni.moreover,it is the duty of the court that if a petetioner doesnt has the lawyer it should be arrnged for him.
regards and bye

mystic Monday, March 05, 2012 06:47 PM

I just want to add that the idea of protest in front of the prime minister's parliament is great. It surely will bring all media of the pakistan to get coverage because this is very crucial time for the government and this is the best time, the right time to stage a protest. Believe me it will have a tremendous impact. Yes maybe some renown politician comes forward and take up the case and fight it in supreme court (just to get media attention).
Brothers anything is possible now. We need to move on, we need a protest. Its a must must.
Besides all that we should keep collecting funds for Raees so he can hire us a competent lawyer in case nothing else works for us like protest etc.
2012 Css exam is about to finish, many aspirants must have done bad in exam and many of them will be overage for the 2013 css exam. So its the best time to spread awareness for funds collection and the protests. We got to do it man, by hook or by crook. Let's all join hands, and fight it together through a case in supreme court, through protests, through letters, through awareness, through all means possible. Just don't stop, daily contribute something for the age relaxation cause.

hassan joiya Wednesday, March 07, 2012 12:52 AM

hello guys....i think all the ideas are amazing but they are subsidiary to our petition in supreme court...therefore, the first thing to be done is to file and petition and then get upon other things in order to compliment our petition...as far as i am concerned i think our goal can be achieved through supreme court only....all other thinks can be done to speed up the process in supreme court...otherwise everything will go in vain if we dont get upon something that is formal and in the papers....i think we should focus all our efforts on the collection of funds and by the mid of this month the lawyer should be given go ahead....raees bhai needs to be supported monetarily and emotionally aswell....cheers

It never ends til it ends Wednesday, March 07, 2012 12:05 PM

Agreed!Yes we should definitely go to d supreme court(Despite d fact that our case is weak plus long time Supreme would take to decide d petition as its hands r full of high profile national level cases) and Im not against it.I know that mere written pleas, letters, media advertisements may not do d trick as governments here in Pakistan hardly moved by such things and I am also privy to the fact that previously many such moves be done on individual basis. But my point is that we should remain other options open as well and used them as pressure tactics because d ultimate aim is to be achieved come what way.The need of d hour is to make a joint strategy by all of us.Fund raising fr the cause should be given d priority and every one should contribute it according his/her means and capacity and Petition must be filed at the end of month if not earlier.A joint strategy needed guys.A suggestion recieves from here and there and at d end of day nothing substantial happens. All talk and no action will lead us no where. This could be final chance for many candidates for any thing to be done otherwise mark my words nothing can be achieved in dis regard for many years to come.Regards!!

In case of any queries plz contact Mr Raees (0334-9157997)

scorpion king Saturday, March 10, 2012 09:40 AM

Mr.Raees was dis-heart due to pathetic response of spectators in general and players in particular. This time his morale was very low. We must understand that he is raees and not Jinnah,Gandhi or Imran Khan.
I think we should go for something else instead of wasting time in this useless gossip. Hundreds of people are watching this drama of age-relaxation and hoping that somebody else would come to save their ship. That is why, We are witnessing no more protest no columns in newspapers no financial assistance no moral appreciation and no progress regarding supreme court lawyer. Everyone is putting his suggestions without any action at all. So, We must not desire because we don't deserve at all.
However, we must appreciate PMS students who fought for their right and Allah bestowed them with brilliant success. Allah Almighty has promised His support only for those who struggle.

Attention (Final Call for contribution)

It is to inform you that Mr Raees would be visiting Lahore on 25th March to meet Mr AK Dogar for final settlement for filing petition in SC regarding age relaxation for CSS.

Many people have committed with Raees to deposit their contribution but yet they have not transferred amount to his account.

Please note that we are really short of funds and if the requisite funds are not collected by 25th March, we will not be able to file petition.

Mr Raees has conveyed message that if the required funds are not collected in time he will take a back seat and will not pursue for the case as without funds he cannot hire SC Lawyer.

You are all requested to please come forward, spread this message and make your contibutions as we are left with less than a week.

Choice is yours gentlemen........

nocturnal Tuesday, March 27, 2012 11:34 AM

Mr Raees visit to Lahore

It is to bring into your notice that Mr Raees has visited Lahore and there he has met with a group of aspirants who have committed to deposit their shares with in few days.

Unfortunately meeting with SC Lawyer could not be held because we did not have the sufficient funds in hand to offer the Lawyer.

Funds submission speed is very slow . If the group of people in Lahore deposits their amount then we would be somewhere around 2--2.5 lacs which is very less. We need to have atleast atleast Rs 5 lac in our hands , only then we can ask the SC Lawyer to give some concession and considering it an advance payment file case in SC.

A lot of people have promised to submit their share but have not done it yet.

Once again all of you are requested to spread this message everywhere and ask people for contributions. A large number of people are desperate to get CSS Age Relaxation but they are waiting for others to take pain and file petition. Such attitude will not bring fruitfrul results for any one.

my father is a very good lawyer at High Court. i had talked to him about the problem that whether he can do something for us. he says that he can do much for us.. but he aslo said that he can do nothing without the copy of the rule/ordinance on which base musharaff had reduced the age..

one plea aboout age relaxation can be demanded on basis of change in education system in pakistan since 2002.

Most of the Bachelor (14 year) degrees are now Bachelor honours (16 year). Secondly all international bachelors are 16 years.

So this change in education system can demand 2 year age relaxation.

Another important point could be raised about technocratical education.

A phD degree is 4 year education after Mphil. (4+18) and minimum age for school enrolnement in pakistan is 5 years. So a child can earn his PhD degree at 27 years minimum age and to get his result card he becomes over age for css exam.

So aspirants can go to court that since 2002 more than 15000 PhD labour force is created by HEC on indigeneous and foreign scholarship basis.

So for this age relaxation should be 35 years for all candidates (including PhDs or inservice officers)...

I hope these 2 points are valid to be negociated in court.....

So this could creat grounds

Zaheer Ahmad Khattak Thursday, April 05, 2012 09:25 AM

I agree

i agree with you dear brother that we all should send a signed application to all media groups and Supreme Court, President House, PM House Isb, FPSC for review the age limit and should match it as the age limit increased by PPSC.

I know Mr. Raees Khan Advocate Peshawar High Court Personally, he has major effort in this regard i appreciate his struggle which is not only for his self but for others also

So Now it is up to all of us to decide the way to sign the application and prepare it under the supervision of a lawyer to fulfill all the legal requirements.

Mr Raees has established some contact in the Establishment Division, as per him establishment division will give remarks in the favour of css age relaxation if the case is filed in the Supreme Court, else Government is not at all willing to give such relaxation.

Only ray of hope is Supreme Court, this is the time when we should take decision, things are quite in our favour. Otherwise if delayed believe me going to SC will not be of any use at all.

Once again all of you are requested to contribute whatever you can, please hurry up. Even a small amount can make difference, drop by drop can make an ocean.

An other channel....

Dear Fellow i have been following this thread from some time. I believe that aspirants have built many expectations from SC after LHC's Verdict over PMS age relaxation. Here i want to clairfy one thing. The case of PMS was differnt altogther. The court has not directed the Govt to increase age limit but ordered to follow the due procedure before advertising the posts. This due procedure, which was previously omitted, involve decision of secretary S&GD(Secretary Services) as to whther the age relaxation e allowed or not.

In case of CSS, the exam is held regularly. It falls under the remit of Chief executive to decide the age limit.Even if court decide otherwise, it is expected to take long time. Therefore i suggest an alternative channel that may prove more effective under given circumstances.

i suggest all of you who want the age limit to be increased do the following.

1- Write emails with standarad format to chairman PPPP. chairman@ppp.org.pk

2- A group of asiprants representing all may visit PPP media office at Islamabad:address given below

Musawaat Building, Zero Point Islamabad.
Tel: (051) 202824-2028-37, Fax: 2s02836 E-mail: drkhshan@comsats.net.pk

3-Aspirants can raise their issue through press conference at islamabad press conference.

mystic Monday, May 28, 2012 06:57 AM

We need a protest in islamabad and a press conference. That way we will catch the eye of media, parliament and Supreme Court. What are we waiting for? Sitting in homes will yield nothing, no pain no gain. Lets stop fooling ourselves around and take concrete steps before its too too late. Now adays nothing progressive can be achieved without the active involvement of media. protest and press conference are the only ways to sway public opinion in our favor. Filing petition in SC alone is a sure recipe for failure. Daily hundreds of petitions are filed in SC and you all know how complicated our justice system is. We should tackle the issue head on and stop living in the fools paradise. I know how much resistance there is in the government and non government sectors against age relaxation, so if we silently petition the supreme court then trust me our petition will end up in the dust bin of history. On the other hand if we can prompt the media then that will serve as the catalyst for our cause. Media has restored the deposed judges, that shows the power of media. Media is against the incumbent government so once we raise our voice on the roads then media is certain to come for our rescue and criticize the government. Dont you people watch AAJ KAMRAN KHAN KE SATH where Mr kamran opposes each and every word and action of the president and prime minister? All those anchorpersons need now a days is something with which they can degrade and oppress the government. Its a point scoring game going on, lets be a part of it.
Our president and prime minister have sold their conscience for money and power, im sure they will be ready to even sell their women if they have to just to get votes in the coming election. Once they know that they can win our votes then man they will not hesitate enhancing the age limit. Trust me on this.

@ Saleeqa: Share your email in your profile for a day.

Muhammad Shafique 1447 Friday, June 01, 2012 08:19 PM

Our leader Mr. Raees has read comments on this thread and he is very annoyed the way some of forum members are creating a very negative impact of our cause. He has also said that fighting for one's legitimate right is one's basic right and one should not have any problem with it. He himself is a lawyer and he has studied this case from every angle and even the most senior lawyer in the country Mr A K Dogar has also said that it is a very strong case. Section 7 of FPSC ordnance says that the Chairman FPSC has the authority to formulate rules before conducting css exam....and he did the same in 2008 when he moved a summery to enhance the age relaxation in 2008 but was rejected by PM which is a clear cut violation of the constitution on part of PM bcoz chairman FPSC is empowered to amend the rules and PM had to approve it. Mr Raees was alos saying that if we win the case for CSS age relaxation, then those people who are doing negative propaganda against us on this forum should not think of attempting CSS exam if they are also beneficiary of our victory.

mystic Friday, June 01, 2012 08:55 PM

@Saleeqa

:ohmy:Did you listen to Omer?
You are the cause of disagreement between omer and me. And guess more you are becoming the cause of our failing cause of age relaxation
You are not keeping your promise to help us in the press conference and writing letter to the chairman of the ruling party. Have you no heart? You are the ladyluck of us all, you are the good omen that will get our boat out of the storm. Please come back to make us victorious. Without you Omer, Ghazanfar and me are nothing but just 3 frogs in a deep well. We are bored of ourselves and we need to be dragged out and be turned each into a prince. Thats how much you mean to us. I have prepared the draft and im ready to share it with all but i wont share it until you come back and wish me good luck. Let me foresee that we 4 are bound to be sitting in the same class in CSA, making paper planes and flying them across the classroom and remembering these lonely days when we were alone and hopeless, waiting for our voice to be heard in the power corridors. Lets not get nostalgic now, lets join hands against the injustice of age limit. Only your hand is missing Saleeqa, come back to complete us :king

@Muhammad Shafiq

When will our great leader Raees file petition in the supreme court? We are waiting for that blessed day when the legal procedure regarding age relaxation will begin.
It is very heartening to know that Raees is confident about our case and that his lawyer A K dogar too is optimistic about it. InshAllah we will win.

@Raees

All those people who are creating negative hype about our cause will not benefit from extended age limit. And those students who are in need of age relaxation and affording and still not contributing due amount of money for the cause with Raees bhai also will not benefit from it because God is seeing all, He sees our contributions and intentions. Its all a fair game, what goes around comes around. Nobody should think that they will benefit from our struggles because even if they appear in exam after Raees has won the case then im sure by some divine intervention they wont be able to clear the exam. Im speaking from experience so trust me guys, hypocrisy is not a good policy, only honesty is.

mystic Monday, June 04, 2012 03:39 PM

@ Omer: Dude see she has risen up to our expectations, now you will have to agree that we are not alone, there are other freedom fighters. Cheers!

Saleeqa! You are such a pleasant surprise. Here is my draft as you asked. I dedicate it to you, now you are its owner and its up to you how you make it work further. Its open to debate, change and hence improvement.

CSS AGE RELAXATION: THE LONG AWAITED MOVE:

After the landslide victory of PPP in the previous General Elections a paradigm shift was expected in all affairs of the new government owing to the fact that it took almost a decade of struggle to oust dictatorship from the land and restore democracy-- the people's rule-- in Pakistan. With the rise of the new government its president and Prime Minister both categorically and publicly announced that they would do all in their power to erase all the traces of dictatorial rule from the constitution, laws and institutions of the country. The discrepancy between their promises and the reality that pursued has become a history well known to all and sundry.
The ruling party has completed its fourth year in power and still the CSS aspirants are facing the music of the restricted CSS age limit put in place by the past dictator. Evidently this is a glaring example of negligence on the part of the incumbent government. What is beyond one's understanding is that twice the Chairman FPSC and the Establishment Division put forth the proposal of Css age relaxation in front of the Prime Minister and twice he rejected it on grounds that the country needed fresh blood and new talent for its bureaucratic apparatus. Well said Mr. Prime Minister, but the fresh blood has been turning old, waiting since the past decade to be delivered while fighting for their legitimate right to sit the country's leading Civil Services exam.
Although the government did increase the age limit from 30 years to 35 years for other governmental services like IB, FIA, ISI and others but exclusively excluded those entering the Civil Services through the CSS exam.. That proves that there is a foul play involved and that some anti-state elements are not letting the government to set right the wrongs done in the last decade by the unelected, unconstitutional dictator.
Increasing the age bar for entering the Civil Services will not only make wide the window of opportunity for the candidates belonging to the middle and lower classes of society but it will also enhance the competitive drive among the aspirants and that way only the most competent and the best suited candidates will be chosen to serve in the executive branch of the government. The chairman FPSC while presenting the annual report of the Commission to the President back in 2010 did give his concerns over the lack of competent candidates to be chosen from for the prestigious posts. Keeping that in view the restricted age limit is taking a heavy toll on the country's future and progress. Musharraf's devolution plan has bitten the dust in toto and has been recently replaced with the old Commissionerate system. The question arises as then why the age limit which he had assigned for the CSS aspirants still prevails in the country? According to political theorists democracy works only according to the All or None principle. The current government was not and is not supposed to carry the failed bricks of dictatorship in its administrative facade. Demographically the life expectancy of a pakistani individual has considerably increased in the recent decades, steps are needed to be taken to tailor the recruitment and the retirement ages accordingly.
In some developed countries the age limit for enetring into the civil services has been stretched as far as 40 years and in the United States the age limit is 59 years for those aspiring to join their foreign service. To come at par with the developed nations our government must bring radical changes in the Federal Commission's selection criteria and immediately do away with the age discrimination which is proving detrimental for the country's progress because the highly educated, competent individuals are barred from taking the CSS exam.
We request the President, Prime Minister, Chairman FPSC and the Establishment Division to raise the age limit in the CSS exam from 28 years to 35 years on urgent basis. That will give a chance to the deserving candidates to come forward and serve their country, the brain drain will be reduced, the sense of despair among the youth will be curbed and prosperity will prevail.

Ghazanfar Ali Wednesday, June 06, 2012 04:39 PM

Age limit for all other countries (UK, INDIA, BANGLADESH etc) civil services is 35 years or above. Therefore age relaxation should be given for the following reasons;

Reason: 1
Age limit for CSS exam is a direct ban on higher education, as after reduction in upper age limit in 2001, HEC has produced more than 15000 PhD’s but none of those high qualified could appear in CSS examination due to upper age limit. Similarly, lawyers, doctors and other qualified person who have acquired higher education are also deprived of CSS competition due to upper age limit.

Reason: 2
Pakistani Society is heterogeneous society in which most of candidates belong to poor and middle class families. They can not avail three chances of CSS examination up to 28 years as they have to get educated as well as to support their families.

Reason: 3
It is also worthy to mention that FPSC has recommended at least 10 books for each paper and there are 12 papers in CSS examination. So, total number of books is 120 or more. It is impossible for a middle class or poverty stricken candidate to buy these books and then to study these books till the age of 28.

Reason: 4
It is a well settled principle that rules and policies should be made according to the situation and condition of public at large and not according to condition of few. CSS age limit must be fixed keeping in view majority of poor candidates.

Reason: 5
It is also worthy to ask whether Pakistani education system is not uniform. Can a candidate of Govt. school compete with the candidate of Model or well standard school? For answer is always in no. Then, whether the CSS examination is going to be only for elite class aspirants?

Reason: 6
The most important point is that the unemployment and exploitation of youth has made them terrorist and they should not be let to go in the hands of terrorists. Let them give a chance to show their mettle.

Reason: 7
Age relaxation to government servants is a severe violation of fundamental rights of our constitution because this means inequality of all citizens of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Only few people have government jobs while majority have jobs in private sector. So, this must be for both or none. Also, age relaxation is given to few areas and not to the whole country.

Reason: 8
Recently age relaxation has been given to PMS candidates in Punjab. The decision of honorable judge ‘Syed Mansoor Ali Shah' for PMS age relaxation narrates, "As to appear in PMS, no previous experience is a requirement to apply. So, the relaxation given to government employees violates the rights of a common citizen. So, that relaxation should also be applied to general candidate who is not in public service"
Not only this, all provinces have given general age relaxation in all combined competitive examination except FPSC.

Reason: 9
The National Security Council under the supervision of Musharaf reduced the age limit for candidates appearing in CSS examination on general seats from 30 to 28 years; for backward areas' candidates from 33 to 30; and for government employees with two years continuous service from 35 to 30. It is also worthy to notice that most of the Musharaf's orders are declared by government as "Null and Void" but this order still exists.

Reason: 10
For other jobs under FPSC, age limit is 35 years. So same should be for CSS as it is a clear violation of fundamental rights. Also, age relaxation to the candidates belonging to only some specific areas of the country is also a clear violation of fundamental rights.

Reason: 11
A candidate of 21 years is mostly not fully matured for civil services. Examples from history are evident of the same fact. So, in order to recruit fully matured candidates and to avoid rot memory, upper age limit should be increased.
Government should also give at least 5 years age relaxation for CSS in order to save talents from being brain drain.

Moreover, there should be elimination of the restriction according to which only three chances are allowed. There are thousands of candidates who are still under 28 year of age, but for one reason or the other could not make to clear the exam. Especially those who have qualified all the stages (written, psychological and interview/viva voce) but are not allocated to any occupational group.

My humble request before the rulers is; let the competent be given at least a chance of fair competition in a country like ours where mockery of the merit is the prevailing principle of government employment.

@ Ghazanfar Ali, Omer and css aspirants

I don't understand why you people are expecting too much from Mr Raees advocate? He is saying since march that he is going to file petition in supreme court in a few days and asked for contribution of money. when some css aspirants contributed money then he told them that he will file petition in supreme court after Peshawar high court hearing on 19th April but now 12 days passed in June but nothing happened.

I want to tell you people that Mr Raees has more than 1 lac in his account now and some people have promised that whenever he will file petition in supreme court they will contribute money which will cross 2 lac figure which is too much money may be not for advocates like AK Dogar but with this money he can hire a good lawyer.
I don't want to criticize Mr Raees advocate but want to say that please convince him to file petition in supreme court through another lawyer as soon as possible but if he is not ready then someone else among you people need to take responsibility of filing petition with the help of money which is in Mr Raees account because this money doesn't belong to him but it is the result of our collective efforts.

so, please think over it and let you people decide because time is running like a bullet train. i also need yours suggestions.

@dear khalil ,and other fellows,

just go and ask to better and experienced lawyers and let us know about their fees, time , other expenses and view points about our case...

like hamid khan, AK dogar, zahid bukhari, azhar saddique, akram sheikh zafar, s.m z....and others of this caliber.we need a lawyer of this stature....jis ko dekh ker he court kuch relief dey....i hope u know about "face value"

Dear we all respect every suggestion and idea....and guideline from respectable members... but we have already decided our direction and help us in this same very direction...

2ndly, we have complete road map to success...and contacted many people....they have committed but what we need is to pay certain percentage of fee which is quite more than 1 or 2 lacs.....then we can file this petition....so we need in hand CASH TO PAY...khali wadhey nahi..

3rdly, bhai yeah lawyers hum jesey saada log nahi k 500rs waley kamrey mai stay ker lein they need business class tickets and 5 star hotels for stay...on every date in court...but again thanks to Mr. raees and our whole voluntary team....jinhoun nai AK dogar sahib sey yeah sab free mai commit kia hai....and mr. dogar is very kind to us...

lastly, i agree with you that time is running.....but in simple words time is running because we are not moving we are waiting for some one who comes and change our fate....in simple words we need money/contribution upto that level k hum unn ko pay ker sakein.....

and again u r rite this money does'nt belong to us only....yeah sab ka contribution and aur iss sey benefit b sab nai he leyna hai hum nai sirf nahi....

i still remember when we started our P.M.S case hum bht kam log theay.... lekin jab chaley aur kamyabhi nazar aii tu kafla baan gea....in such matters we need financial, psychological and moral help and a lot of time to spend on this issue ...otherwise no one can change our fate...so come up with healthy suggestions and contribution...

aur ager hum kissi kamzoor lawyer sey case kerein gein tu koi faida nahi humara case ki date he 2 sal k baad aey gi aur phr "Tareekh pey tareekh ho gi bss"...strong lawyer k sth aur bht benefits hoteay hain MEDIA b sth automatically aa jata hai...n many other fringe benefits hoteay hain...which i cant explain here...

in the last i would like to pay special tribute to those who have contributed not only money even their time and keep us and their selves motivated....

@ Farhan1981

Yes, brother your arguments are pretty good but tell me one thing what if we were unable to collect money equal to fee of AK Dogar then what will be your next step?
All those who are struggling for age relaxation have crossed 28 and may be likely during the process of collecting money they will cross their thirties so what these people will gain?
So. i just want to say that to file petition as soon as possible because court process is too slow and may be the whole process will take about 2 years and the court will give age relaxation but all the members of this thread will not be eligible for exam because on completion of their thirty years.

Press conference the way out

If you trust me let me tell you the easiest way out. If we arrange a press conference at Islamabad press club, tie black strips on our elbow as a sign of protest along with few banners, and 2 or 3 guys who can speak well in front of camera come forward at the press conference and explain how much they and other hundreds like them have been affected due to the restricted age limit, and then MAKE A PLEA THAT THEY NEED A SENIOR SUPREME COURT LAWYER TO TAKE UP THEIR CAUSE BECAUSE WE CANNOT AFFORD AS WE ARE STUDENTS OR DO JOBS. At the same time appeal should be made to the HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANIZATION FOR HELP. That will be watched by whole pakistan and not only it will ring bells in the government but I'm very much sure that some prominent lawyer will come forward to do it for free (of course he will do it to enhance his repu in the media that how kind and humanitarian he is).
A Press conference will only cost around 20,000 rupees but it can save our future. In the press conference the appeal should be made to the Chief Justice of pakistan that if no one else then he should arrange a government lawyer for us to help us go through the due process of law.

This is the cheapest and most effective way out. We need media, we need to be heard in the president, prime minister house and the Chief Justice. The rest is up to you and fate.
And dear kahlil, we are aiming at getting 35 years as the upper age limit so don't worry if you get over 30, you still will be able to take exams, although I agree with you that we need to do something about our cause as soon as possible.

Farhan1981 Tuesday, June 12, 2012 03:23 PM

to all respected members,

ur every suggestion is quite worthy and appreciable....

but infact we have already charted out our plan....which is comprised of different ways to tackle our problem...

i,ll try to explain it in few words:-

1- legal proceedings....in high courts and supreme court...thru a well reputed lawyer....who have understanding of services matter....well experienced....and who personally feels some strength in our case...bcz every lawyer has different view point...some have already disagreed with us...but ak dogar sb is very convinced.

2- step two is create a media hype thru press conferences...... and protests.

3- thru political and parliamentarians...by putting "QUESTION" during sessions and CALL ATTENTION NOTICES......and by creating a lobby for our cause...we have already contacted and get on board few politicians...who r in our favour and already supported us.

4- bring strong connections in establishment division and FPSC so that then can write comments in our favour..

and some other important points yet to mention i have given a sketch to u for simple understanding...

and dear khalil, we r fighting for 35 years so dont worry....inshallah we,ll be victorious...

we all r like a family and community so suggestions and mainly contribution is needed...
lastly it all depends on us k hum kitni juldi apna ist target which is money collection ko complete kertey hain....

@ Mystic and Farhan 1981

Firstly i am not worrying for myself because i have two chances remaining and i will easily claim age relaxation for both of my chances because i am a govt servant but i am saying for all those aspirants who have contributed money and are waiting.

Secondly the comments already sent by establishment department to Peshawar high court are also in our favor in which establishment department claimed that fpsc asked for enhancement of age two times but were rejected by govt and this time will also ask the govt to enhance age up to 30 years so it is therefore that i am saying that please make your campaign effective and collect money to file petition in supreme court.

Thirdly i will once again say that please convince Mr Raees advocate to file petition as soon as possible because it seems that he has no intention in near future to file petition because he is too busy in his activities.

So, i will request Farhan 1981,mystic, omer, ghazanfat ali to take initiative as farhan 1981 has already won a case in Lahore high court regarding PMS because it is not only Mr Raees responsibility but it is also our responsibility.

Dear we are working hard for this noble cause. Every Comment will be appreciated but criticism will hurt us all as we are not fighting for our personal gains. Moreover I want to clear onething that Mr. Raees is our leader and we all are his followers. If someone has doubt on his honesty, he can withdraw his money.
And as far as the collection is concerned, we can only request the affectees but can not force any one to do so.
By the Grace of ALLAH, We are very close to success and no one can stop us.
wats mr.dogar's fee?
We can not pay the fee of A.K.Dogar but he is so kind that he will accept whatever we will give to him. So once again I request all of you to deposit your share so that we can make it early.

@ Ghazanfar: Thank you so much for doing away with my doubt.
Meeting with Ahsan Bhoon is an auspicious sign. He was Chairman of the Lahore High Court Bar Association. We are seeing your passion, you surely will make us proud one day.
@ Billa: thank you for trying to get our writings about age relaxation published in the print media. I trust you will succeed.
@ Omer: You can do a big job if you get a comprehensive article about age relaxation published in any of the UK's leading newspapers. Our media give a lot of attention to what's published about pakistan in the foreign newspapers. Just tell them that our government don't want students to get higher education because they are not letting the higher degree holders to appear in the exam by virtue of age discrimination, and that B.A failed politicans are sitting in our parliament ruling us with their fake degrees. Once you do that then we can show it to the newspaper editors here. If any foreign newspaper office is nearby then buddy that's your call.
@ Saleeqa: Last but not the least, what are you doing lately for the cause? :vangry
