Default Eligibility for css

Dear Members,

I am 22 years Old, I work in a Chartered Accountancy firm in London,England. I am part qualifited ACCA. I have done Level 7 (Equivalent to Masters in England)Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership from Chartered Management Institute. When I did this diploma on the bases of my work experience I got an option to do MBA top up based on this diploma, which I availed and did MBA recently from University of Wales.

I want to know am I eligible for CSS? The only point I am confused about is that I don't have a bachlor`s degree but only have master degree which I did on the basis of Post graduate Diploma, and post graduate Diploma I did on the basis of my work experience.

I contacted HEC, but they confirmed that they will only be able to recognize my MBA degree not the diploma. So can I apply to give CSS on the basis of my Master's Degree? If InshAllah I pass the written exam, will I be asked this question in the interview that how come you have done Masters without bachlor, because HEC dont recognize my PGD Diploma.

Is having bachlor recognized by HEC a mandatory requirement to do CSS or can someone apply on the basis of Masters of Foreign Degree ?

Your comments will be most appreciated.

Academic years of a person are like steps in the ladder, 10th step is Matriculation/O levels, 12/13th step is Intermediate/A levels/Diploma of Associate Engineering and then comes undergraduate /B.A. degree, which may be of 14 or 15 years thereafter comes the Masters degree. I dont think that you will be able to sit in the exam on the basis of your Masters degree, when there is a missing link of undergraduate degree. Nevertheless, you may like to recheck from the HEC, the relevant officer is Syed Asim Hussain, AD Equivalence. Drop an email to him at sasim@hec.gov.pk. His office number was probably 051-90400912.
