can anyone tell me what is the duties of ASI, BS 9 grade . salary? and etc?

ASI in police department usually work in field...but Can work as head of DIB/CCTV/Fingerprint branch/and as Sub SHO

In civilian or armed forces, usually the duty timings are not in a straight way. Most of the time, you have to do over-work. This is especially the case in Police Department. But, for ASI. you should apply. The job is a good and secured one. If one is determined to study, he can find specific time for this purpose.
