For a 20 marks question, the answer usually does not exceed 5 sides of the answer booklet i.e. if you write with normal line spacing (not too close as on a notebook, and not too spaced as most candidates tend to do thinking that it might increase the number of pages and cast a good impression on the examiner, whereas reverse only happens). For the first question, one can give a little more time (around 45 minutes) and space in answering the question, but for all others 35 minutes should be the maximum which includes the time for brainstorming. I think this is enough time to give a comprehensive response to any thing asked. For other marks, you can make an estimate yourself.
