Why candidates from Punjab top?

If we go through the result of previous years, it is apparent that candidates from Punjab secure top positions. Even aspirants from other provinces study in Lahore and give their exam there, but are unable to secure top positions. What is the reason?

50% of Pakistan's population is in Punjab. Combine this with the fact that other provinces are economically backward too, and it won't seem odd that toppers are from Punjab.

If a province is economically backward, does it mean students from those areas can not buy enough books or avail tuitions or academies? Was that your point of view?

But, while studying in Lahore, I have a great number of aspirants from other provinces purchasing tons of books (quality may matter) and getting admission in academies.

Your observation cannot be tantamount to any conspiracy against other provinces nor this can lead to make a criterion to award top position to a province on turn basis. It is a competition and top position is awarded to winners.
