Need Information About Police SI (BS 14) and SHO (BS 16)

I'm Twice "Not Recommended" from ISSB.
Now I'm looking forward to join Police, but I have no idea about it.

1st:
I need a official website link where I can get latest news about Police Recruitment.
2nd:
What about their Test(what kind of) and Training (Duration and where it held)
3rd:
How can I join Police from SI (BS 14) or SHO (BS 16). In how much time and what maximum Promotion they get?
4th:
Current Salaries Of SI (BS 14) and SHO (BS 16)?
Through which course I can join Police as SHO (BS 16) is it about CSS?
5th:
Any other Benefits like Medical?

1> www.punjabpolice.gov.pk but recruitment is done through PPSC so keep visiting ppsc.gop.pk For Sub Inspectors Required Criteria is Age 20to25 and graduate with minimum 2nd div.Height min 5'7 Chest 33x341/2 Eye sight 6x6 with or without glasses.


2> After Police Order Amendment 2013 recruitment for general public is Constable,Si & ASP. Constables are recruited by District Police directly, Sub inspectors via Public Service Commission and ASP via CSS. Test of Sub inspector is one paper MCQS test of 100 marks followed by an interview.(They do have certain physical and medical fitness requirement)
successful candidates undergo 1 year (9+3) physical training (9)months at Police College Sihala Islamabad (3)months Elite Orientation at Elite Police Training School Bedian Lahore.

3>you will join Pujnab Police at your Region level e,g Rwp region(Jhelum,Chakwal,Attock & Rwp) as a temporary Sub Inspector you will undergo required Trainings and after your confirmation in said rank you will be eligible for Promotion to Inspector Bs16.This process may take upto 10years or more.As induction of Sub Inpectors started in 2014 and 5 batches have already been recruited so at this moment no one knows about maximum promotion.

4> Fresh Sub inspectors get 28to 33k depending on their region as some distt dont pay some allowances unless you successfuly complete your training.As for Inspectors BS16 depending on their service they may get 60k plus And for the record They dont recruit Direct INSPECTORS (dont mix with inspector legal)

5> You get medical facility in DHQ. However to avail that you have to follow certain paper work

Thank you scorpio88 for the information but I'm shocked when you said that "Sub inspectors get 28 to 33k", I mean how they survive with such a low Pay? U also said that it may take up to 10 years for a Sub Inspector to get promoted to Inspector. I don't get it. I mean for 10 years how a Sub Inspector survive with 28-33k Salary, what if he/she is Married and have 1 or 2 Kids.
Please me help out with this. Their must be a way to Directly Apply for a (BS 16) because I have BSCS (Hons) Degree.

During Training do they get Paid or not?

Police has nothing to do with your grades,whether you are through out position holder or 2nd div pass you are equal. However it will help you in final merit & Selection.
4 batches of approximately 1000 Sub inspectors have gone through this stage and they survived in this pay and 5th batch haven't joined yet.If you want more salary go to private sector,if you consider your self competent enough try your luck in PMS ,CSS. Police has Charm but not salaries.And of course you get paid in training period.
Final advice for you is ,If you have time and resources go for something else like FPSC jobs, being federal they have better privileges than Punjab govt

Salaries do increase annual basis.Each year you get an increment of 10 or 15% of your basic pay.Govt increase salaries and allowances each year in Budget.
