It may be possible for a candidate to be sponsored while written exams, as one the member of this forum pointed-out a case, but hard nut to crack in psychological test as well as interview.

I am sorry but I disagree with the majority here. Those who conduct interviews, are also, human beings like us who have friends and family. Now, If some close friends & family (or their close friends and family) have qualified for the interview, and they are requested to help, They will surely help or do something.

Please know that What I said above is based on experience. A friend of mine, who also happens to be a relative (not close relative though) but a close friend appeared in CSS exams 2 times and failed. 3rd attempt, he cleared the examination (just passing marks, luckily) and in interview, since his father is also a bureaucrat (22 BPS these days), did the job. He told me (He might have lied, but highly unlikely) that his father personally knew 2 of the people involved in taking interview and he was helped. so, heh anything can happen In Pakistan May Allah Guide us all

Bottom Line : bureaucrats, examiners etc are humans like us and have the feelings and families and friends like us & they are not angels from heaven. They are from us, so anything can happen. Sad but true ;/

Everything is possible in Pakistan,when some members here mentioned that they helped others through SMS or examiners helped some candidates in CSS 2011 then wE can expect everything from this system
