That's a very good question. I am a son of a senior judge of high court and what I have seen or learnt from my experience is that the judicial service is an excellent service.
Civil judge is extremely powerful, legally and constitutionally, and there are no political pressures on him. I wish I had been a lawyer so I could appear in judiciary examination.
But still I say that it depends on one's own preferences too. I like administrative job so I prefer PAS over judiciary but as far as the legal and constitutional powers are concerned there is no match between the groups of css and judiciary. Judiciary is far superior. My list of preferences would be like this:
First PAS, then judiciary and then police and afterwards all the other css groups .

I personally am in love with judiciary, and it is my passion to become a civil judge (waiting for the exams for last 3 years, alhumdulillah LHC has announced the vacancies now). You get a chance to make a difference in people's lives, directly. You become the tool of Allah to spread justice in the community. You can become an example of honesty in a department which is, sadly, full of corruption.

Most of all, my father wants to see me as a Civil Judge (due to all the above-mentioned pros).

Imagine, if only one single person gets justice through you, where would you be standing on the day of Judgement!

I also think Judiciary is more powerful job then csp and also the pay of civil judge is way better then csp.But it all depends on personal liking/disliking.
