Criticism is the analysis and judgement of the merits and faults of a literary or artistic work.
critical analysis examines an article or other work to determine how effective the work/contribution was. In your specific case of Aligarh Movement the answerer should discuss the strength as well as weaknesses/faults of the Aligarh Movement. What was its limitations/ scope and how much it contributed towards the Independence Movement ( Like what deficiencies could have been remained in the Independence Movement if Aligarh Movement was not there.) Hope it helps, correct me if i am wrong. |

Critical analysis is often confused with negative points of a particular topic. However, this is not so as critical analysis means one has to include positive and negative outcomes of a topic. More better strategy is to give positive, negative and then your own point of view at the end of each topic. One more thing should be keep in mind. Many aspirants give good answers to the questions but they failed to prove their logic and authenticity. As a result, low scores.
