Is this written on your transcript or degree that you have secured 72% marks or you yourself have calculated your percentage accordingly?

Here is the conversion rule as per set by HEC,hopefully it will work for you.
http://www.hec.gov.pk/INSIDEHEC/DIVISIONS/HRD/SCHOLARSHIPS/FOREIGNSCHOLARSHIPS/OSSPHASE2BATCH3/10OSS/Pages/ConversionofGPA.aspx But most of the universities have their own criteria, but still having B grade means 1st division,so it would be better if you contact reslpective department for authentic information. |
what are the major subjects in b.com?

To calculate your CGPA based on the 8 semesters:
[(total grade point for semester 1) + (total grade point for semester 2)+ (till grade points of 8th semester] / total credit hours taken in all semesters For more details, you can visit the following link,, http://www.friendsmania.net/forum/result-pakistan-all-classes-results-subject-notes-guess-papers/139820.htm |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You should contact the registrar's office of your university in this regards. Every university has a different grading criteria (relative or absolute). You can ask them to furnish you a certificate mentioning the division. HEC only dictates on the conversion of % and CGPA. |

I had applied for a scholarship only mentioned total cgpa and obtain gpa. Will HEC consider this 3.46 from 5 a second division? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

However, as per the standard rules, you should fall in the second division. (3.64 CGPA is between 50 and 59.99% slab). Anyhow, you should contact the university to issue you the certificate mentioning the division. |
