Firstly, you need to clear the written, psychological and interview of CSS. After that, there is a merit list made and allocation takes place on that basis. The combined marks decides whether you get allocated in your desired group or not. Therefore focus on your studies and whichever subjects you have picked and try to secure high marks.

subject doesn't matter whatever you selected but the thing which can matter that is your merit and score (both written as well as interview)
as concern "Pakistan administrative services" these services considered prime services among other groups in CSS so you will have to come in top merit candidates if you want to join PAS

Best of luck

It is not that the subjects do not matter at all, at all. According to an Ex-CSP officer I know, subjects do have a slight impact. E.g. If you choose Public Administration as a subject, it will show the assessors that you are a serious candidate for PAS and will also help you in answering questions pertaining to district administration.

That said, Afridi and Mano are right in contending that 'score' should be the primary consideration. But if you can score nearly as well in say, Public Administration and Agriculture, nothing should keep you from choosing the former. Hope it helps!
