Default Political science or IR..so much stuck..

Can any body thoroughly shed light on political science and IR..Most candidates are opting IR as it seems easy.Paper one IR is really strange..It has not become a wel discipline field yet.Paper 1 is all about case studies and thesis. There is no well organized book on paper 1..Paper 2 is easy but risky..
Political science with Constitutional law or IR with IL...???

International Relation and International Law is a good combination to go with, and I myself have opted IR and IL. As I have heard or read somewhere that Pol. Science is a bit rough subject, and you may get bored easily. I chose IR because it interests me as I went through the syllabus and decided to go with it, and because of the several other benefits associated with it which help you in preparation of other areas of CSS exam.
