locked my subject combination but still confused
AoA everyone I am a Physics graduate and need guidance regarding my subject selection viz.
Physics (200) Public administration History of USA Mercantile law Journalism My concerns are: 1. US history: as most of the aspirants are selecting this subject thinking that it's high scoring and thus there will be more competition as people are saying marking is relative and also, I'm not that good at studying histories but with a little effort I can get a grip on it. 2. Mercantile law: I've heard about it being high scoring too but no one is talking much about it so I'm a little concerned. please give your opinion whether I have to make some changes or not. |

US history is the easiest among all histories and has the shortest syllabus. That is why people have scored more in it. However, this does not mean that you will score high in it.
Your score is dependent upon the following things: a. your preparation and grip on the subject b. your style of expression (how you answer questions) c. your ability to reason based on the nature of questions asked All these elements will become part of you if and only if you feel that you are enjoying studying the subject. Don't go with trends, go with your gut. If you went with trends, you would start considering some subjects (such as English Literature) undoable. Take a deep breath, look at all the possible options (based on your interest and length of syllabus), and then choose what's best for you. Best of luck!!! |

Law , well some People find it difficult to understand the wording of law. So it's better to give it a go at first. Read its syllabus and then go through past papers. Then , read some stuff about the topics online or from any book that's available to you and is related to css. Then you can decide better. If you are not good with histories ,then you know yourself better to opt it or not. All of them are good subjects. It seems like you have got a business background so combo is good. If you find any other subject related to business then it would be better to add it up and replace any of these subjects written above.
