Default MCQ Preparation

I am quite good at written exams. I have considerable command over the English Language and my proclivity towards reading books and periodicals have armed me with enough knowledge that i can attempt written exam papers with minimal preparation. With years of diligent study I have built a sound knowledge base to put forward arguments and differ when needed meticulous eloquence. However, most exams other than the coveted CSS and provincial CE ,constitute of 100 or so MCQs. This is my weak area.

I really do not have any strategy to overcome this weakness. And I find it difficult to memorize MCQ type questions. Further more there is a plethora of books available in the market. I have a few of them. Namely one from Caravan Ch. Najib Ahmed and another one from Jahangir by Zahid Hussein Anjum.

My observation tells me that at least 50% of the MCQ type questions present in such books are useless. The list is too long and exhasperating and frankly speaking impossible to memrize 100%. (I may be wrong, and hence I'm hear to consult from you all) What kind of MCQs must one learn? What should be the strategy to learn? Kindly share with me effective ways to achieve the same.

Quite a few exams are expected in the near future and I intend to ace them by targetting my weak link.

Awaiting your help in anticipation. regards god of war

I think MCQs get memorized easily if we study/read something systematically. Like if you are studying History, you need to study it sequence/event wise like story from start to end underlining important dates/names/events etc.
Memorizing MCQs from any book haphazardly may not be very effective.
