Default Pointer or fountain pen

I am being advised by top position holders of css 2012 (13th and 39th) that fountain pen should be used in exam. Can anybody share their views about this. I am fluent on pointer.

yes i too have a good fluency with pointer. i really dont know how to write with fountain or anyother.
i think this desicion should be taken off by the writer itself because he or she is very much mind full of the facts that by which stream they can reproduce their data well.

Parker pens are famous prolly for their high quality and brand name. Start practicing now. However, writing with an ink pen reduces one's writing speed even if one has been habitual of using it for years.

Inkpens are recomended as compared to pointer . The reason is that if you want to erase anything that you have written wrong , then you can easily do it with a remover . So, it gives a good and neat imression to te checker instead of the impression that you create by pointer or ballpoint .

Parker pen is not necessary . Buy any pen and start practising . I remeber when Parker Brand was famous once ,ten years ago, but now every pen can work . It is upto a person using it . Some use a pen having short nib , other ones prefer a longer one . So, it totally depends on you . Instead of buying 1 pen having a cost of thousand , buy 10 to 12 of same type according to your hand writing's suitability with it .

Since when pens and pencils decide the fate of candidates in exams?
I respect the view point of my colleagues but it depends upon you what is more convenient...The handwriting should be legible, thats what they say. CSS hay, Lahore ya karachi board ka matric exam thora he...I can give my example...i had bad hand writing but the stuff was presentable, legible and somewhat neat. I used a pointer which was more fluent. Dont you think neatness can be achieved with a simple ball point too if the hand writing is o.k.

I endorse your opinion. When it comes to pen selection, the criterion must be to give a legible writing only, nothing else. However, following points must also be considered.

You must not endeavor hard to make your handwriting amazing, because more important things will be kept at back burner then, however, naturally good handwriting is a blessing.

As Madiha said and I agree to her point of view, this is CSS guys, the examiner is perspicacious enough to focus on more important things, the things that really matter, he cannot get biased by mere good handwriting. It would be a good thing to have good writing but does not matter at all.

You must make your handwriting legible but endeavor to present your data effectively and in an organized way. You must also focus at formatting the data so that it may look distinctive. Your writing on blank sheets must be good, the lines must go straight, so practice that thing.

Finally when it comes to pen selection, agreeing that handwriting has to be legible only, you must be able to write fast because time is really short, so I would suggest the Pointer, it will give you fast handwriting and what remains is good handwriting which must be a secondary requirement. practice more, that's it.

I wish all of you luck in your endeavors.
