respected senior, can u pls share the way you prepared for css exams, each and every minor details, esp for english essay and grammar.

yea,almost every one stands badly in need of help and i hope the aspirant will contribute valuable by the dint of which they have acquired the status which we r devoid of,but this vacuum can be bridged once they rescue us from the predicament we are trapped in.

Practice Precis and paragraph writing everyday.Paragraph writing is very important as it helps in essay writing.Solve past papers.
If possible try to solve one past paper in one sitting everyday.

Practice direct Indirect from past papers, various grammar books and Direct Indirect Made Easy.

Idioms are difficult to prepare and cant be prepared from a single book.Conventional idioms are not asked.Idioms already given in the past papers are hardly repeated.Prepare idioms and phrases from the newspaper.While reading newspaper,underline phrases and idioms and look for their meanings.Following sites can be used to find the meanings....

firstly congratss that u made it!! just b focused and inshAllah you will get through interview..sir, i wanted to ask that which subjects you opted and can you please share your marks and how did you study for english and CA paperz..i will highly appreciate if u will share.also i wanted to ask that i have opted for georaphy and indopak,whch other subject/sujects should i opt?and how r these two subjects.

Salam to All CSS Aspirants!

I m New here and need help. I've done MBA n my optional subjects are Accountancy & Auditing, Indo Pak History, IR and I need help whether I should opt fot muslim Law & Jurisprudence r not. I've to choose a subject woth 100 marks but m unable to decide wat to choose...Any 1 who can help me on this????

Current Affairs
I read Dawn Newspaper, Hearld Magazine, Time Magazine and Newsweek Magazine.I read Economist on and off.U dont have to read each and everything in these magazine just read the relevant issues.Editorial page of Dawn should never be missed.Read Dawn newspaper regularly.

Have a look at the past papers and the syllabus of Muslim Law.If u have interest in it and think that u can do well then u should opt for it. Sociology and Journalism are easy.Opt for a subject after going through its syllabus and past papers...

Indo Pak History and geography are fine....Opt for the subjects which interest you and you find easy to handle...before selecting
any subject go through the syllabus and the past papers.

well, those who could not qualify the written exams will receive their mark sheets . those who have passed the written exams will get their DMC after the interview ...
so islah wont be able to share his DMC as he has passed the written exams.
