Hi,
How many girls intend to stay at the hostel in CSA and what facilities are provided during our stay in the hostel?

AoA
Most of the girls that are not from Lahore would definitely be staying at CSA hostel.Hostel staff provides good facilities ,rooms are spacious with two beds ,study tables and separate wardrobes. There are some 40 rooms ,20 at ground floor and 20 on first floor.Beds are with mattresses while rest of the stuff we have to bring with us,the heaters will not be provided and if you want to bring your own ,it should be a electric one.Any thing that you want to bring for your own ease is totally up to you.
All the rooms are exactly the same.
If you want to know anything else you can ask.

Courtesy :A friend who visited the Hostel recently.

Regards.

Hi everybody! I visited the CSA a couple of days b4 eid and took a tour of the place. Most of the hostel buildings were locked except for the one called Sir Syed ahmed block. It had spacious rooms but the construction was very old and the bathrooms were NOT attatched ! infact( i dont mean to put anybody off) they were not the cleanest,i hope everyone can guess at what I mean..lol. I was told that the ladies hostel is in the same block as the co ordinators office and im not entirely sure but does not have attatched washroooms either. Hope im wrong!

there was even some talk of shifting the girls hostel off campus as a record number of probationers will be staying there this year.

Regards.

Well you must have seen the Hostels for Boys, yes the CSA staff is working day and night to get the accommodation ready for boys as soon as possible.
Still the work is going on,the facilities regarding attached washrooms may differ in different Hostels but I was talking about the girls hostel.
The washrooms are attached ,tiled and rooms are carpeted and with pair of single sofa as well. This information was given to me by a friend.
But i think attached baths or other baths is not a very serious issue. The time we will spend at CSA will be the busiest as it can get and we will have hardly any time left for roaming around the hostel, thats what the staff at Hostel said.

@ Deputy Commissioner
As i mentioned earlier there are 40 rooms in girls hotel and round about 80 girls(not sure about exact no of girls),so each rooms will accommodate two officers.
I have no idea about the Hostel arrangements for boys.

Regards
