last time it started in november. so safe estimate would be october/november. if you have to give notice , as soon as you get your allocated seat and you give your acceptance to establishment division then you can give the notice. that way you will also have some spare time before the beginning of CTP

What pay is expected during CTP

yar its basic pay of 17 scale and some allowances.now if the scales are revised in this budget ..then new bps-17 pay will be 32000. if the scales are not revised then i think , the pay during CTP will be 20 to 25K.

Seats are 217+carried over seats( Total 270). So for Punjab there are 109 seats

sarfarz bro presently in 39 ctp we are getting around 22,500 after deductions (16000 basic and some allowances add to it ) after the 20% budget increase you can add around 4k to it

OMG Salary is too little if it is 25K. i am getting about 60K at present.

No, as per the policy you cannot appear in CSS during your CTP..however one is allowed to appear in the psycho and interview.

No , you cannot appear in 2013 CE, if you are completing your 40th CTP

Unfortunately there is no way out and policy is likely to remain the same. At max you can avail 6 leaves and the grant of leave depends on additional director of your academic group in CSA. Therefore, the only option is to defer your CTP and appear in the exam with full preparation. Otherwise complete your CTP first and then appear in 2014 during STP.

I am in the same trouble as that of mhkhan.Appearing not in 2013 attempt as per the policy in CSA,i would waste my 2nd chance without utilizing it.Therefore,the only way out,i see, is to adopt a legal course in this regard and file my case in court against this violation of the basic right of candidates of utilizing three attempts under the prescribed age limit since such a liberty of taking written exams during CTP was permitted till 37th CTP.In my opinion,such bans can be contested in the courts on the pretext of discrimination against the candidates.i wonder what on earth has compelled the CSA administration to snatch this right of candidates!!!!:vangry

i look forward to valuable suggestions of seniors whether this endeavour would bear fruit or go futile.

Ofcourse,the court has to decide the matter before the commencement of the exams otherwise the respondant i.e FPSC would not be able to conduct the exams before the court's decision.

How is this ban enforced? If a candidate sends his/her forms in December and then takes a week off to take the exams in March, how is the academy going to find out?

I just spoke to someone in the establishment division and he told me that one can always take 10 days off to appear for the exams.

This ban is sheer injustice and CSA in no case should have the power to ban a candidate from taking his attempt which is right and if this ban continues it must be challenged. How CSA can deprive a CSS aspirant from his right just because of 10 days leave.

What if a person goes to take paper without taking permission from CSA ( In case they do not allow) What might be the consequence?? Seniors please guide

I have learnt from one of my friend who is about to complete his 39th CTP that duration of 40th CTP is again going to be of 10 months. CTP used to be of 10 months till 37th CTP and it was reduced to 6 months for 38 and 39 CTP and appearing in paper during the CTP was banned from 38th CTP onward.

In case 40th CTP is again made of 10 months, does it mean that ban of appearing in paper during CTP would be lifted? Seniors please comment.

Write the request to the secretary establishment division when you get the offer letter. Inform them on phone as well.

CSA is the most dangerous place for secrets. A guy was relegated for attempting the exam secretly in last CTP. You cannot take an entire week off save for serious medical issue. Establishment division has nothing to do with CSA rules.

Sir ASPZIA sahib can u please elaborate your case how you were allocated.In the first allocation list ur name was not there then how u got through to CSA.
If u were re-allocated then that list is not posted anywhere. Can you please explain the said matter ???

No rule exists for mutual exchange of occupational groups. However, there are precedents in past regarding the same. For any such thing, only the Prime Minister has the ultimate authority. And getting the PM to allow for group swap is also next to impossible unless you personally know the big boss. In short, group swap is not allowed at all.

Sir, Although I agree with your suggestion that Pushto is generally scoring but this year it was a night mare for all of us. I scored 59 in pushto and 81 in forestry despite having a good command over pushto subject. Other qualifiers too have pushto marks below 65 this year. I am not sure whether this trend would continue further as Punjabi fetched as much as 87.

@shahid babar: I am not going to suggest forestry for everyone as it is a bit technical but one can not simply expect the ultra scoring trend of pushto each year. Go for pushto but don't expect too much. Stay blessed.

Entire list will be changed, If merit # 1 does not join. List will be changed from the merit # which will not join. Subsequent list will be changed.
