CAN someone join PAS without doing CSS

Dear Admin/All group mates
asalam alaikum

CAN someone join PAS (Formerly DMG) without doing CSS? I mean various jobs are regularly advertised by FPSC for BPS 17, 18 etc so are there jobs announced through wich one can join PAS (formerly DMG)

As far as i know, you can'T join PAS as officer without CSS until and unless you are a nearby relative of PM or other prominent political figures, because they often appoint non-cadre officers in some group. An example of induction of dozens of non-cadre officers in OMG by former PM Pervez Ashraf.
so if you are not related to a powerful politician, then there is no shortcut, just work hard and try to clear CSS.

thnx sir, I hav come to know that PMS officers are allowed to b moved to PAS/DMG upon three to five years service after qualifying two interviews.. it was held last year but so far nothing new to shake the shoulders in this context

Yes.Dr.Waqar Masood and Shafqat Mehmood were inducted in DMG by Benazir Bhutto during her tenure as the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

I am not sure about Shafqat Mehmood ; but Dr.Waqar is certainly an inductee into the erstwhile DMG.
