Question Best book for CA

kindly seniors suggest us which is the best book for background view of current events .. like Pak-US relation and its ups and downs etc. as dawn is helpful in current events but without history of relevant subject, I think it will not helpful upto the point.. so kindly suggest us some book which can cover current affair topic in both papers PA and CA. thanks

Moreover, in order to get the historical background of the ongoing events in international politics and about the economical crises prevailing all over world you can refer to the source of internet. there you can find different opinions over issues thus making you able to analyse it in different dimensions.

Default CA books

I am not using any particular book related to current affairs because none of the book covers the syllabus. I am making my own notes from dawn but its really time consuming. what is your suggestion?.

I read dawn to keep myself abreast of contemporary affairs but as far as relations are concerned, I will buy some authentic book.

I personally find reading the newspaper daily very helpful for preparation. But still I felt the need for a book such as contemporary affairs. So yesterday, I went to the market buy it. There I also found this book called 'current affairs in focus' by ilmi publishers. I think it is a new book and it contains up to date articles. I personally would recommend this book to anyone who wants an alternative to contemporary affairs book.

I think the best way to up date yourself to the current affairs is reading newspaper daily. But, reading from a book/ journal or a magzine helps a great deal. For that purpose there are many books in the market, but the book you have suggested " current affairs in focus " by ilmi is a good addition to that tally.

I have been through this book but for this you must have back ground knowledge of that issue. I bought contemporary affairs by imtiaz shahid which is published bimonthly.
