You should consult "B.A simple grammar and composition by Prof. Zia-ur-Rehman". Wren and Martin is also good but it's totally in English. The one I have told has also a detailed explanation in Urdu as well so you can easily improve your proficiency in English. Once you learn the basics, it would be much easier for you to get command over mcq's.

A)Read a standard grammatical book,namely "Thomson and martinet"
B)Read extensively and with time all the niceties of grammar will dawn on you.
