the recommendations must be customized according to your level. i assume you already know about is/was, this/that and have/has etc.

in my opinion, you should read as much books and newspapers as possible. this improves your knowledge, vocabulary and comprehension. in the next phase you can start with rephrasing texts. with a steady practice prolonging over months, you will one day have the composition skills of the required level.
