Default Translation-HELP

In order to discover one's hidden flaws, it is important to find out how our enemies perceive us. Our friends, usually familiar to our nature, praise us. Firstly, our flaws do not appear to be flaws to them or they are a bit too careful about taking care of our 'khatir'(what does khatir mean, can someone please tell me), the fear of upsetting us keeps them from revealing our flaws. On the other hand, our enemy vehemently 'tatolta' (what does tatolta mean?) us and looks for our flaws in every nook and corner and highlights them. Hence, due to enmity, he ends up making a mount hill out of nothing, nonetheless there is still a grain of truth in it. A friend always exaggerates a friend's qualities yet an enemy always exaggerates one's weaknesses. This is why we should be more grateful to our enemy as he lets us know about our flaws. If one pays heed to this point of view, an enemy proves to be better than a friend.
