Preparation for English Grammar paper

i am starting this thread for the beginners.
first of all they should get hold of all the past papers.
secondly, go for some good books
start with Rippon's college essays and then move on to Exploring the world of English.
Keep on solving the papers while your studies.
Focus mainly on Precise, comprehension and expansion of idea.
I will give further guidelines in my futher posts.
Note: All the beginners should remain keep in touch. I assure all of them that they will achieve a lot from my posts.

The next advice in this regard is that while solving the paper the candidate should divide his time into different portions .
First 35 minutes should be given to Question no:4 to Question no:7.
Then the remaining should be given to Q1, Q2 and Q3.
45 minutes to precise.
45 minutes to comprehension.
30 minutes to expansion of idea.
last 15 minutes should be reserved for revision.
More techniques will be given in the coming lectures.
