I am suffering with the problem that i commit to many spelling mistakes while i am writing answer. I fear i may stuck in Exam due to this habbit, that is primarily developed due to use of MS Office. Any suggestions. @Maha Khan, @Sociologist_PU, @Invincible @verstile Bhutto...After that hot discussion of future of mqm finally i need your help. |

@ Faseeh
Bhai the only solution to your problem is write, write and write. When you will write more, the more you will realize about the mistakes in spellings you are making. Another useful way is to post msgs in this forum and activate the spelling check to catch your mistakes. Hope you will improve with the time.

There isn't any quick solution to this - no magic wand. But here are three suggestions.
1. Check words in the essay title especially carefully. Other words to check are technical words, and words which are the names of people or places. Make absolutely sure that these are right. Then... 2. Add these words to the Spellchecker on your PC. If you can't do this, or you're not using your own PC, then... 3. Learn the word. Like this. Look at it until you know it. Say it slowly to yourself. Without looking at it, write it out (I mean write it by hand). Check that you got it right. Then write it out several times. This is so you practise getting it right. Write it in different ways - write it big, then small, write it in different colours, in capitals as well as small letters. Finally, check that you've got it right. This all sounds a bit childish, and you might want to wait until you're on your own before you do it. But it works. At the end of the process, you will know the word with your ears, your eyes and with your hand. Regards

Leave all the short cuts in all the forms, you will observe great difference.
SMS, Chat, etc. do not use short cuts.

agreed to the suggestion of Raz. Leave all short cuts, and you'll see how it works. Secondly, write more and more. you'll see the difference.

I second RAZ bhai,
and one more tip , start dictionary option in your mobile while writing message and start writing in English. This will surely improve your spellings ,because on daily basis we do send many messages to our friends. Regards |

Thanks Alot...
@Raz, thank you sir for your kind suggestion, almost every one emphasised your advise.
@invincible, thanks for your reply..but using spell checker while working with MS office is one of the main reasons for this disaster for one only replaces the incorrect spell and does't give attention to spelling. But i will certainly follow these steps. And thanks are also due to @faiqa, unsolved_mystery & fluent20.
