You have done a great job. Never be stereotypic everywhere. Read the below mentioned excerpt:
Write in style book by Richard palmer "There are two views about what to do if the original is in the first person. Some authorities say that a precis should always be written in the third person, and that the original must be recast accordingly. Others argue that clarity is the chief criterion, not formalism, and that if the pr¨¦cis will read better in the first person, then use it. I incline to the latter view, but either is tenable. Practice, experience and ¡®feel¡¯ will guide you best: do what seems most comfortable, provided the resultant version is clear and apt" Also read page 966 of exploring the world of English.

An Exotic Adventure
Cherokee, a state in Oklahoma, is known for its exotic nature. Owing it to his boredom, the author went to see it with a friend. Upon arrival, the focus shifted to a town called Qualla Boundary. The town had it all. A mountainous region with a historical perspective in the form of tribal cultures mirroring the lifestyles of the 18th century.
The artistic nature of the town was also on display in the form of souvenir shops consisting of colorful war bonnets and cone-shaped tents. They made a friend along the way, who was introduced as George. He informed them about his workload where works from dawn till dusk to make ends meet. He also told them about other means of income where Cherokees organize gaming events such as Super Jackpot and the Warrior Game Special. These entertaining events provide that extra income needed to survive in off-peak periods. The final stop included a visit to the art museums that portrayed the cultural symbolism of the region in the form of hand-woven oak baskets and stone carvings of various animals. |
