precis practice?

should it be practiced on daily basis, and can we use any random piece of writing to practice it..

excess of practise is never wastage of time....still it depends on u and time that how much time u can afford...but practise is very imp. for english whether it is precis or essay.....ideally one precis should be made on daily basis.

I think in the beginning you should practice daily and do the 1 precis daily and do upto 20 precis and onwards give the gap of 10-15 days .Try to make precis of paragraphs in past papers in CSS and PMS.

Mussa is quite right in suggesting u practicing precise from past papers. But while doing so u must must obey and follow the rules which are must to write a precise. if u could practice 10 to 15 precise and cold be able to check them by someone who has the knowledge of rules u will inshaAllah be able to get good marks in this portion of the composition.

but do remember, checking of the precise is the most essential aspect of preparing and practicing for ensuring good marks.
