Which method to Practise?
Dear All,
there are two methods usually in exercise. One method is that we take the theme , subject or topical sentence out from given paragraph and explain it in our own words. There is also no restriction on length of precis in this method(it can be shorter than required one-third). Another method is that we need not to stick only to topical sentence. We put all the necessary details of given paragraph in precis. .. People argue that method one grabs us more marks but requires enough strengths and skills, method two needs only management but is not marks rewarding...! Please elaborate which method be followed. |

As told by my teacher, the method one you mentioned gives more marks...but dear its not save...if you practiced enough and get it checked by someone and he suggested u to go for this method than you could go for it...otherwise follow method 2...
